Happy 1st Birthday To Ambition Earth!

Today marks the first birthday of AmbitionEarth.com! Exactly 1 year ago today I was sitting at home thinking about all of the places that I’ve visited over the years and the places that I want to visit in my life. This led to the creation of AmbitionEarth.com, a place where I could let my creativity flow whilst sharing my experiences to help others enhance their own.

Since that day, 365 days ago, I have now published over 100 posts on this website whilst holding down a full time job in London! If you’d have told me that would be the case when the blog first launched I would have laughed and said it simply wasn’t possible!

Blog highlights

There have been many travel highlights over the past year and from Asia I think my top experience has to have been an incredible trip to Thailand. We explored many areas however seeing elephants up close and personal at the Seaside retreat sanctuary is an experience that will stay with me my entire life.

We also had some great experiences in Europe with a fantastic trip to Rome in March where I fulfilled a lifelong dream of visiting the Colosseum.

Another incredible highlight from Europe was visiting the cold but absolutely breathtaking Iceland in November. A visit to the Gullfoss Waterfall as part of the Golden Circle Tour was particularly special.

Finally we did some travelling around North America too with an anniversary trip to the beautiful Canada. Our visit here was a bit of a road trip that took us to the beauty of both Banff National Park and Jasper National Park with a stop off at Lake Louise before finishing the adventure in Vancouver. This was an incredible time away from home and seeing all the Canadian Lakes was amazing. Nothing however will beat the beauty of Peyto Lake which was a major highlight!

The past year has been a real adventure on the blog by trying to find the time, energy and focus for consistently writing. There have of course been tough times and motivational dips however that only adds to the challenge.

Who knows what the next 12 months will bring however one thing is certain and that is that the blog will absolutely continue for another year.

Thanks for reading and thanks for supporting us!
